DESCRIPTION: Candicci's has a great atmosphere. The tables are cozy, like most italian places in St. Louis. If you cannot take several minutes to review the huge menu, the servers are most helpful. Wine selection is excellent.

DESCRIPTION: I heard how good the bread is so I decided to try it out. I PURCHASED 2 classic subs: to go only to find out that they had been premade and refridgerated. I have a dislike for refridgerated bread, that is why I went to St Louis bread Co. TO GET FRESH BREAD!!!!!

Nice Treatment, St Charles
DESCRIPTION: Although this doesn't pertain to the food, I thought I would let you know what nice treatment I received when we had a problem. Yesterday, I had ordered a sandwich and specified strongly that there was to be No cheese put on the sandwich. When it came, I didn't look (my mistake) and when I had eated at least half of it, guess what, it had cheese on it. I am allergic to dairy and I was horrified. I promptly went to the bathroom to try and rid myself of it. What a horrible experience. Anyway, the manager, David Norby, was very apolegetic and handled the matter with caring and dispatch. Of course I am very sick today but I know it was a mistake on the chef's part, and one doesn't mind getting this sick when you have nice people working for you like Mr Norby. Thank you very much.
