Amazon offers Columbia Historic Edition (Audio CD),25 October, 1990 List price $9.98 Great stuff / 5 This is a really good collection of early Sons of the Pioneers. The tracks are variable in style, but all are good, and many of the songs are unavailable or hard to find elsewhere. While not as definitive as the Country Music Hall of Fame recording (a must), this is very satisfying. I strongly recommend these earlier recordings, with real-life accompaniment by accoustic instruments, over the more recent, end-of-career versions with their overly slick orchestral accompaniment. Worth the price, though stingily filled.
